Double-board bomb pot scoring means evaluating two separate five-card boards. For each board, Aurora finds the best hand made with exactly two private cards and exactly three cards from that board, then awards that board’s fixed half of the pot.
How does a split work?
When different players win the boards, each receives the half assigned to the board they won.
Player A wins top; Player B wins bottom
Player A winsQuad Aces
Player B winsTen-high straight
What does scooping mean?
A scoop occurs when the same player is the sole winner of both board shares. Aurora then sends that player 100% of the relevant pot.
One five-card hand connects with each board
Player A winsQuad Aces
Player A winsTen-high straight
What happens when one board ties?
Aurora divides that board’s 50% share among its tied winners. The other board remains independent.
Two players tie top; Player A wins bottom
Players A and B tiePair of Queens
Player A winsRoyal Flush
How does a multiway result settle?
More than two players can receive chips. Aurora first identifies every winner on each board, then divides that board’s fixed share among those winners.
One board winner; two tied winners on the other
Player A winsQuad Aces
Players B and C tieTen-high straight
How are side pots handled?
Aurora repeats the same 50/50 process for every contested side pot using only the players eligible for that pot. An all-in player may win a main-pot board without being eligible for a later side pot.
Scoring mistakes to avoid
- Do not total “board points” to choose one overall winner; that is Triple Board’s model.
- Do not mix cards between board rows.
- Do not use one, three or all five private cards. Each board requires exactly two.
- A tie on one board does not change the other board’s 50% allocation.
Choose Double Board (Choppable); Aurora applies these shares automatically.
